Resident Evil 6 (Xbox 360)

Resident Evil 6 is a video game with horror themes coming from developer/publisher, Capcom. The game is set to launch November of 2012 for the home consoles, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will also be released for the PC at a later date. The game's events are set in the year 2013. Adam Benford, the US president, will be talking about what really happened during the Raccoon City incident back in 1998. He believes that laying down the truth will decrease the possibility of bioterrorism. Leon S. Kennedy stands by the president’s side. However, a bioterrorist attack will suddenly and significantly change the scheme of things and Leon will be thrust into making a very difficult decision.

Chris Redfield, a member of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment, will be assigned to the fictional Hong Kong-like city of Lanshiang, which is also feeling the threats of bioterrorism. In fact, the whole world is in danger and people have basically lost hope. After the previous title, Resident Evil 5’s release, RE6’s concept development already began. Development started in 2010. With an official trailer launched back in January 19, 2012, things are looking really good.

Hiroyuki Kobayashi leads the game development. He is targeting the delivery of the franchise’s best ever title when it comes to not only production value but also scope. Resident Evil 6 is aimed towards becoming the trigger towards the franchise’s big leap of an evolution. A playable demo is expected to be released on PSN and Xbox Live Marketplace September 5th, 2012.
