About this Game

Renegade Ops has a good multiplayer mode that will get many gamers jump at the chance to play it. It also provides a great arcade vibe that many have apparently been longing for. This is backed-up by great dual-stick action. Of course, the voiceover can sometimes be a little bit cheesy but can still be considered a terrific addition to the game.

As with most games, however, Renegade Ops is far from perfect. Gamers may have to contend with awful keyboard and mouse control. So, this is the downside of the awesome arcade vibe. Gamers may also get easily bored with the same old mission objectives, maybe partly because the game peaks a little early. Glitches and crashes also plague the game. These are not fun glitches a la Skyrim, either.

However, if a player wants to be able to get more action in the tradition of old school movies, Renegade Ops is a solid choice. Children of the eighties may well appreciate the game’s similarities to classic G.I. Joe, for example. Also, Renegade Ops players who are also Half-Life fans will be happy to encounter Gordon Freeman. The Half-Life character is apparently living a double life, one of which involves him being a soldier of fortune.
