About this Game
Metal Gear Solid HD Collection put together the rebooted versions of Metal Gear Solid 2 – Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3 – Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid – Peace Walker. These titles for the collection have both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 remastered versions. These ports were managed by BluePoint games and published by Konami although the original versions were developed by Kojima Productions.
The disc also comes with the MSX copies of Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 – Solid Snake. The Japanese package of the HD Collection does not have Metal Gear Solid – Peace Walker. Instead, it contains the product code that will enable users to download the first ever Metal Gear Solid. Peace Walker’s HD conversion has gotten a separate release, at least in Japan, last November 10.
The titles had been remastered by the story and themes are just the same. So, old gamers will just be returning to the same albeit fully enhanced world. All the three titles have undergone a total overhaul in terms of its graphics. The game is now able to support 720p resolution. Not only graphics have experienced an overhaul, however. For example, Peace Walker’s control system was also fixed to enable users to use the dual analog stick as well as the controls’ rumble feature.
