About this Game
Originally announced on December 10, 2010, Uncharted 3 - Drake's Deception continues the winning Playstation-exclusive Uncharted formula - exotic locales, unique blend of third person action adventure and platform gaming. Published by Sony Computer Entertainment and developed by Naughty Dog, Uncharted 3 - Drake's Deception focuses on Nathan Drake's interaction with his father figure/mentor Victor "Sully" Sullivan. This installment sees Drake head off to the Arabian Peninsula looking for a legendary lost city. He will also trek through the wastelands of the Rub' Al Khali Desert. Drake is looking for the lost city known as the "Atlantis of the Sands" and "Iram of the Pillars."
Aside from the usual "Indiana Jones" type story elements and locales, Drake's Deception will feature new game operations like climbing backwards and the ability to take on several enemies at once. Standard game features include the ability to jump, swim, move along ledges, grab, swing from ropes, and other acrobatics. In terms of weapons play, the character can only use a small side arm and rifles/shotgun.
Uncharted 3 will also feature cooperative multiplayer game play. One player can take the role of Drake while the two other players take the role of hero companions. Multiplayer gaming involves standard platform operations, gunfights and team-based objectives. Only a maximum of ten players can play - 5 per team. Six modes are available - deathmatch, plunder, elimination, turf war, king of the hill, and chain reaction. Uncharted 3 allows players to rack up points so they can buy skins for their characters. Uncharted 3 was released on November 1, 2011.
