About this Game
Recently announced Assassin's Creed 3 from French/Canadian developer Ubisoft will be the fifth installment in the franchise that sees action-adventure meet an open-world, stealth video game with a historical theme. This latest creation surprised many by its allotted historical setting - the American Revolution.
Once more the game will feature Desmond as he relives the lives of his Übermensch ancestors. This time, the protagonist is Connor Kenway, who is half- English and half Native American Mohawk. His tribal name Ratohnhaké:ton and the game follows 35 years of his life. The Assassin/Templar conflict has moved to Colonial America and caught up in the fighting between the White Colonists, Kenway is drawn into conflict himself. From the screenshots, Kenway has use of such weapons and a tomahawk, some period pistols, and of course the trademark Assassin's Creed hidden sleeve blades. Some incidental characters such as George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, and Thomas Jefferson, among others, have appeared in screenshots.
Due to the historical time frame, many industry speculators have observed that they may be fewer opportunities for parkour related activities in this installment. Though this, of course, remains to be seen.
