About this Game
The popular Elder Scrolls series returns with its latest installment The Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim and it promises to be epic. Set about 200 years after the events of Bethesda’s previous Elder Scrolls release The Elder Scrolls 4 - Oblivion, The Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim takes place during a civil war. The location itself, Skyrim, is a vast expanse of beautifully crafted landscapes, where everything from the smallest leaf to the tallest mountain is rendered to pure perfection.
An ancient legend foretells the return of the Dragon God Alduin, bringing with him the destruction of the world. One man, the last of the Dovahkiin, born of dragons, can prevent this terrible fate. In the beginning you are but a nameless prisoner, who escapes from his own execution, but in time you learn that you are the last Dragonborn.
As Dovakiin, it is your mission to destroy Alduin the Dragon God, but on your way you will encounter many dragons, that roam freely in the skies above Skyrim and can attack you at random. In their defeat you are able to absorb their soul and learn their powerful language to craft spells. The Elder Scrolls 5 - Skyrim features nonlinear gameplay.
The world is simply enormous, and features many locations and towns that all coexist with differing and independent economic systems. The game’s incredibly powerful Radiant Story technology controls NPCs and side missions. It is possible for players to play indefinitely, without ever completing the game’s main objective.
