F.E.A.R. 3 (PC)

F.E.A.R. 3, F.3.A.R in logos, is first person shooter with psychological horror elements. After all, this game deals with the titular obstacle. It was developed by Day 1 Studios for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 play. This third installment of the franchise was announced back in April 8, 2010.

The video game comes with a co-op system where players get to control either the protagonist Point Man or the antagonist Paxton Fettel. The Point Man controls are derived from the previous two installments. This means that the player can make use of the usual command list, which includes melee, activating and using items and throwing grenades for example. Fettel, on the other hand, has the powers of melee, possession, telekinesis and stun among others. The player can play as Paxton Fettel in the single player once he or she has finished the same level as the Point Man.

F.E.A.R.3 comes with four multiplayer game modes. The mode names are rather irreverent. They are “Contractions”, “Fucking Run”, “Soul King” and “Soul Survivor”. Players face their fear in the video game. They get to start off in safe rooms and then head on out to fight their enemies. They can go back to the safe rooms, however, to revive a downed team player during a co-op game. F.E.A.R.3 proceeds nine months after events in the previous installments.
