About this Game
Assassin's Creed is a long-running open world/sand box, third person action adventure game that allows the player to go back in time by reliving the "genetic memories" of the distant ancestors of the series' protagonist Desmond Miles. Using the Animus machine, he can relive the experiences of his ancestors Ezio Auditore or Altaïr ibn-La'Ahad. With Altair, Desmond can go back to genetic memories of the third crusade and thereabouts, with Ezio, he can go back to the Renaissance era.
In Revelations, Desmond's memories go back to the Byzantine Age where his alter ego will meet a new master assassin. This installation also promises to wrap up the Desmond/Altair/Ezio trilogy and move on to the next stage of the series.
When going back in time, Ezio or Altair are presented with missions they have to undertake in the Animus project's ongoing struggle with the nefarious Templars/Abstergo. Past missions include assassinating the notorious and infamous Renaissance pope Rodrigo Borgia as well as many other characters that did or aided the Templars bidding. Assassin's Creed - Revelations is posed to continue the elements that garnered the series many fans - exotic historical locales, intriguing plot premise, colorful historical characters, and, of course, a lot of action.
Revelations also brings new features to the table. Revelations will feature a hookblade which can be used to zip from building to building. Also, Ezio will be able to craft more bombs and Eagle Vision has been improved. The game drops on November 15 for consoles and November 29 for PCs.
