Xbox 720: A Dev Kit Ends up on Ebay, Really?
A listing on Ebay, that is claiming to be a real next generation Xbox, has recently sold for just over $20,100. The winning bidder must have a taken a giant leap of faith, as not only are there no tech details listed, but Microsoft have not confirmed that the item is real.
Really, it has to be said, that some people have more money than sense. There is no way that the item is worth $20,000 even if it does turn out to be genuine. The item is listed by Ebay user SuperDae, who tweets, and has leaked images of Kinect 2, under the same name. It seems that the Ebay account was created just for the purpose of selling the Durango dev kit.

It is a surprise that Microsoft allowed the auction to continue unchallenged. Conspiracy theorists speculate that the top bidder was in fact Microsoft, hoping to catch the person in the act, especially if it does turn out to be the person who allegedly leaked the Kinect 2 photos. Others think that it could just be an internet attention seeker looking fr a few moments in the lime light.
Regardless of whether or not the item is real, I think the question needs to be asked, who would pay 20,000 bucks for a PC that is as powerful as an Xbox? Just spend the 20,000 grand on a good/ great PC. Asshats.
