X-Men – Destiny: New Launch Trailer
Activision is not only going to release X-Men: Destiny this week but its launch trailer as well. You will see many X-Men characters from the game asking you to decide and make your own destiny. Even if there is lukewarm reception for the game, the footage includes a lot of action that might be worth getting excited about. As an action/RPG based on the X-Men comic book series, X-Men: Destiny takes gamers to experience the lives of new mutants who join the X-Men or the Brotherhood of Mutants. Through their game’s characters, players will have to make choices that will eventually shape their destiny.
Power enhancements will be available for players to collect in different levels of the game. Dubbed as “X-Genes”, it can be used to unlock three kinds of abilities that are vital for having a unique gaming experience. Unlike other typical linear type of gameplay, X-Men: Destiny allows its fan base to have “ultimate control of their destiny”. This video game title by developer Silicon Knight has already been available for the PlayStation 3, Wii, Xbox 360, and Nintendo DS consoles in the North America since September 27. It is slated for release on September 30 across Europe. It should be quite interesting how this title pans out.
