The Witcher 2 – Assassins of Kings: Two Disks Worth of Content for the Xbox 360

The saying “good things come in small packages” apparently didn’t reach the developer of The Witcher 2 – Assassins of Kings. I am sure they would counter that saying by pointing out that they are packing extra content for Xbox 360 fans to enjoy by going the 2 disc route. Still, it can be quite a hassle switching Xbox 360 discs when you have a controller in one hand and a pizza on the other and your eyeballs are wrapped in the monitor/TV in front of you.

Still, the hassle is worth it because there is a ton of content stuffed in the ‘extra’ disc. You get all the new content that came out after the PC version shipped. You also get the new highly anticipated side quests packaged in to the disc. If developer CD Projekt’s got your appetite going, don’t get too excited just yet – there is still no definitive release date. The closest thing we can get regarding the release of this beefed up The Witcher 2 – Assassins of Kings Xbox 360 2 DVD package is “sometime next year.” I am tempted to say “buzzkill” but hey, considering how much promise The Witcher series has, the 2 disc package just gives me yet another reason to look forward to the new year.
