Sonic the Hedgehog 4 – Episode 2: The Second Episode Comes with Co-Op Mode
Whether you are a retro fan or a new one, you will be excited about the new Sonic the Hedgehog 4 details that have surfaced. Screenshots provide a glimpse of the game’s special stage. There is even word of a completely new physics engine, which will replace the somewhat problematic Episode 1 model. One of the best news, however, is that Episode 2 will feature a co-op mode, for both local and online multiplayer gaming.
The co-op feature has not been around since ‘Shadow the Hedgehog’. In this previous game, a second player can take the controls as the sidekick. A second controller was needed to make this happen. The leaked Episode 2 details were soon gone from the virtual world. It was not a figment of your imagination, though. There were fans who made sure to copy the information down just to have their own notes to refer to. Here are some of the details: The franchise moves on to Episode 2. This time, Sonic reunites with Tails in a game that now features co-op gameplay. Episode 2 follows what happened in Episode 1. Metal Sonic has come back to become allies with none other than Dr. Eggman. In Episode 2, Sonic will face his new enemies together with his old friend, Tails. The two will work together using some awesome combo moves as they race through four completely new Zones to stop evil.

You do have a choice to play alone even if there is a provision for you to play with a friend who is right next to you or with someone online. Episode 2 is an evolution of collaborative gameplay within the series. Together, Sonic and Tails can cause more damage on their enemies. Their combo moves can challenge the evil collaboration of Dr. Eggman and Metal Sonic. It helps that the game also comes with a new physics engine that is combined with the game’s original visual style.
