Shadows of the Damned: Launch trailer gets us up to speed
Shadows of the Damned goes on sale tomorrow. If you are unfamiliar with its storyline, its setting, its graphic imagery, and its level of action, check out the release trailer. It’s definitely going to blow your mind. Developed by Grasshopper Manufacture, Shadows of the Damned features demon hunter Garcia Hotspur’s journey to Hell to free his girlfriend.
A product of the collaboration between designers Goichi Suda and Shinji Mikami, this third person action shooter has thematic similarities to Resident Evil. With heavy amounts of demon blasting action and almost non-stop gut blasting, demon zapping action, Shadows of the Damned doesn’t pull any punches.
If you get uncomfortable at the sight of simulated blood on the small screen, this might not be the late afternoon video game title to choose to put your feet up to and chillax with. Working on shock value, strong language, and raw action, Shadows of the Damned sees more than its fair share of hacking, slashing, blasting, and all around gore fest. Let’s put it this way, the body count for this video game outstrips the kill rate of the Rambo, Terminator, and Kill Bill series combined. That’s a lot of demon corpses!
