Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City: New Trailer Packs Punch
The new Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City Triple Impact trailer is awesome. I am not saying it is awesome just for the sake of calling it so. The trailer just so happens to deserve every bit of that word and more. Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City is an upcoming title from Capcom’s popular franchise. It is an online four player co-op shooter that brings you back to Residen Evil 2 events. You are to play a member of the evil Umbrella Corporation.
You are already well-aware that the franchise has already reached and gone beyond many boundaries. It spawned films and books and continue to be among the most popular zombie-themed forms of entertainment out there. This is not the reason we are calling its new game’s trailer awesome. The trailer is awesome. In the trailer, you see a team of Umbrella Corporation battling it out with zombies. But that much is to be expected. What is great about the trailer is that you can almost feel as if you are watching a cinematic trailer for a horror film. The lighting is dark so the 3D models look even more realistic. They have already been modelled intricately enough to look pretty realistic under a bright light but in near darkness, they really look like real people. The rest of the 3D models are also excellent.
The trailer takes in most of the great horror trailer elements. There is the suspense-filled music that bodes nothing good and then there is eerie silence with soft whispers in the background. The latter is somehow a lot more effective, at least in my humble opinion. In true horror movie trailer form, there is the slicing sound that can be heard before the silence. After the silence, there are more shocking reveals. Watch the trailer for yourself!
