Pro Evolution Soccer 2012: Newest Pro Evolution installment announced
The latest newest installment of the Konami-published soccer series, Pro Evolution Soccer will roll out this year with Pro Evolution Soccer 2012. The latest installment will come out with three major improvements: better off-the-ball motion, a more robust jostling dynamic, and improved defensive systems.
Soccer (or football to the rest of the world) is a very dynamic game and according to Shingo Taktsuka, Creative producer of the Pro Evolution Soccer line, the goal of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is to fully capture the experience people get when they watch soccer on TV. According to Takatsuka, the development team of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 spoke with global football fans on how they can migrate the on field dynamism of live action soccer to the game screen. One core element they gleaned from all their research is the importance of teamwork.
The development team then built key elements of Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 around teamwork-related factors: fluidity of movement, creating space around the ball in motion, a game that rises and flows like a real football match with individuals stepping to the plate and breaking through, and more intensive wide ranging control that doesn’t feel forced. Tentatively, Pro Evolution Soccer 2012 is slated for release on all 3 major platforms around Autumn 2011.
