Ninja Gaiden 3: Three free DLC packs unveiled

Tecmo Koei, the publisher of upcoming action adventure title Ninja Gaiden 3, will be releasing three new free downloadable content packages for fans of the game. As reported briefly in Famitsu, the DLC packs will give players new weapons to add to Ryu Hayabusa’s formidable arsenal. The scant details indicate a scythe weapon and a claw weapon. The DLC packs have not yet been confirmed for release in western markets.

However, if Tecmo’s past actions regarding DLC is any guide, we can expect that they would be quite thorough for this weapons offering. As for paid DLC packs or updates for Ninja Gaiden 3, we still have no word at this point. But we are confident that since the game has a multiplayer mode, there would be at least a paid DLC for this upcoming title is quite likely. Ninja Gaiden 3 drops in the US on March 20 and will be available on both major console platforms-Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. For European fans, they only need to wait three days later to get the title. The game has a Wii U version that will be released at a later date. This latest Ninja Gaiden installment sees Ryu off to London to take out some terrorists. However, he could not stop one of the bad guys from causing an international incident. Fans of previous Ninja Gaiden installments definitely have quite a bit of action to work with for this installment.
