LA Noire 2: Another Rockstar Game, Another Set of Rumors
Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5 has been the subject of some many rumors. That much is clear to us. One of the rumors connected to the game is the possibility that it may be developed using an advanced motion capture technology, already used by L.A. Noire.
L.A. Noire was also from Rockstar and it seems that a sequel may be in the making. Team Bondi, the development team that made the game happen, is no longer there but Rockstar is still considering a sequel. After all, the detective game is well-known for being able to feature facial motion capture, which made acting games reach new levels. At this point though, Rockstar has to make sure that Max Payne 3 gets smoothly launched in May and that GTA 5 follows suit this year. They have to make sure that the previously announced games get launched first before focusing on an L.A. Noire plan. It would also be nice if the studio can also fit in a Red Dead Redemption sequel while it is at it.
What do you think of the detective game getting its own sequel? There are gamers out there who are more fascinated with the visuals, especially the facial movements in the characters than with the gameplay. There are also fans who would want to see the technology used in other games, such as GTA 5. On the other side of the spectrum, there are also gamers who would rather see Rockstar focus on the gameplay. These guys would rather play GTA 5 with its old visuals than with the facial motion capture if it means that the gameplay is even more awesome.

However, we should remember that L.A. Noire became known for the use of the advanced technology. Those who have come to love the game will be looking for the one-of-a-kind visuals and acting.
