Kinect Star Wars: New Gameplay trailer packs a lot of excitement
The development team behind Kinect Star Wars sure packed lots of bold statements in this trailer. “Experience the World of Star Wars controller free.” “A Star Wars game for everyone.” As bold as these claims are, just judging by the video, the game appears to have delivered on the claims.
For one, the inclusion of a dance (what?!) segment indicates a willingness of the game’s developer to fully capture all the differing possible markets for all things Star Wars-including, obviously, dance game fans who also appreciate the Star Wars canon. Of course, the main focus of the game is the Jedi mythology of Star Wars. This title aims to make players feel like a Jedi. You start off as a Padawan and, of course, some personal mentoring from that Jedi of Jedis-master Yoda. Yoda teaches you some cool light sabre moves. With Kinect, not only can you wave your glorified laser stick around with authority, you can also force push people and other humanoids that come your way. The video says that you feel the force through the power of Kinect. If the light saber action doesn’t hook you, there are five hundred vehicles in this title and you can control them all with body motion. Jump over obstacles, move to evade pursuing craft, and of course, shoot down enemies.
