Grand Theft Auto 5: Map Will Put Liberty City to Shame
Yet another rumour news so get the salt cellars ready. Unfortunately for us journalists, these are all we’ve had to feed on for months, and yes we know the stories are getting tired. This time an anonymous tipster claiming to be the friend on an ex-Rockstar employee has stated that the map in Grand Theft Auto 5 will trump the area of Liberty City by over 5 times.
Admittedly this “revelation” is hardly surprising, though I must say that if I have to repeatedly sit in fake traffic, the large map will become rather tiresome very quickly. Especially considering the fact that the tipster seems to think that the police mechanics will be more sophisticated and include the use of tazers. Aside from comparing map sizes, Mr. Anon also said that GTA 5 would also include a fully functional illegal economy that the player can immerse his or herself in. That sounds pretty cool to be honest. Kind of bringing a bit of a SimCity vibe to the proceedings.
Please forgive the jaded tone of this short article. I cannot wait for real news about this game. This wonderful game that I will surely love more than, say, a child of my own. But until then I will just bring you all of the latest goings on, hot from the press room of Grand Theft Auto 5 Rumour Mill Plc.
P.S. I am aware of the irony of releasing an article like this on April 1st…Â Unfortunately, these anonymous tipsters are no joke.
