Final Fantasy 13-2: Xbox 360 Will Get A Special DLC Weapon
Square Enix has just announced a Final Fantasy 13-2 DLC. This one is going to be an Xbox 360 exclusive. The DLC will be a weapon named Azrael. That sounds like an angel’s name, by the way. The weapon will be used by Serah, who takes the lead after her sister Lighting disappears. Azrael is a bow weapon. It has been designed with the help of a Square Enix – Microsoft collaboration.
This DLC will launch on February 7, 2012, only four days after the main gamer is released. It would have been nice though, in my opinion, if it will be launching together with the main game. The DLC will cost 80 Microsoft Points. If you want to read the official description of the weapon, here it is: ”This weapon is named after an angel who represents spirits and death. It is believed to possess the power to change the owner’s destiny, and your Chain Bonus is upgraded when equipped. Serah alone has the ability to wield this legendary weapon. The player can obtain this weapon from Chocolina merchants, from Episode 2 onwards in the main game for 80 Microsoft Points via Xbox Live Marketplace for Xbox 360. Only Serah has the ability to wield this legendary weapon.”
Oh so, I was right. The weapon sure sounds like it was named after an angel. It is so powerful that it can change the owner or handler’s destiny. I wonder how this spells out for Serah, its owner? You might want to see the weapon in action by checking out some Final Fantasy 13-2 trailers.
