Dragon Age 3: BioWare Wants to Hear from You
Let’s face it, many fans of the Dragon Age series were quite disappointed with how Dragon Age 2 turned out. As we previously reported, Bioware’s top brass already said that they will consider the features of Dragon Age 1 when planning out Dragon Age 3. Now, it looks like the developer want more direct fan feedback so it knows what direction to take with Dragon Age 3.
If you were one of the many fans who were screaming “don’t fix something that isn’t broken” when you played Dragon Age 2, now is your chance to stand up and get heard. Bioware has announced that it is going ahead with the next installment in the Dragon Age series and it needs fans input on where to take the franchise. Dragon Age 2 disappointed many fans because the gameplay was so different from the first installment of the series. One of the funniest put downs of Dragon Age 2 was “Dragon Effect” since some fans felt that it absorbed some Mass Effect elements when it didn’t need to do so since Dragon Age 1 already had awesome gameplay elements. According to a member of the development team for Dragon Age 3, the team has gone back to the “Bioware vault of games and re-examin[ed] them.” We take this to mean they dusted off Dragon Age 1 and compared it with Dragon Age 2.
This is a good first step. Now is your turn to step up and guide the team to where the game should go. You can give them your feedback at PAX East as well as forums and of course, Facebook.
