Alan Wake’s American Nightmare: Fight Till Dawn Mode Showcased By Remedy

Remedy shows off some of the Fight Till Dawn mode of its new game Alan Wake’s American Nightmare. The new mode shows off the new title’s co-op capability. Remedy CEO Matias Myllyrinne talks about the mode using a lot of detail. He even goes as far as describing the various new enemies and weapons that you will be encountering if you play the mode. Myllyrinne also talks about the possible tense or suspenseful parts in the game.

So what do you think about the game? The title has already been criticized because people had their own expectations about it and about the game itself. The game is a straight to digital download release. Some may be put off by this fact but American Nightmare does have a lot to offer if we just think about what Myllyrinne has been talking about. The Fight Till Dawn mode sure sounds interesting. The very name suggests that you will be kept up all night not just in the virtual world but in your own little space in reality. It is a good thing that Remedy is showcasing a few minutes of the mode. This way, players know what they need to expect from the game.

So what do you think of American Nightmare? Is it a nightmare that you will be willing to be put under? You could watch some of the extended trailers and screenshots from the game to see just how you would love or hate it and how you would fare. The game is out on XBLA this coming first quarter of 2012.
