WWE ’12: THQ Keeps on Working on Game Servers
It is ironic and unfortunate that some moves towards making things better actually make things worse. Well, at least this is what happens with some patches. Last week, there was a WWE 12 update released to correct some bugs and to generally make the game more pleasant to play with. However, things went from bad to worse after the patch was downloaded. So, fans complained. Now, THQ is still bent at work on the WWE 12 game servers.
If you want to know the exact tweet from THQ Tank, here it is: “I apologize for the @WWE 12 server inconvenience, I assure you we are busting our butts like those NYGiants to fix, update tomorrow.” Over the weekend, WWE 12 engineers have been hard at work on the servers. Hopefully, THQ can solve the problems soon because there aren’t a lot of nice stuff to watch on TV with SuperBowl over. We sure want our WWE 12 back and we would like to hear more updates. So what do you think is wrong with the servers? Could there be something else going on? We sure hope not because we could not deal with anything that is less than straightforward right now. At least THQ tweets to let us know what has been going on so far. Maybe they would be honest about any serious problem they have encountered and would not enrage fans with false expectations.
We would want hourly updates if possible but we know that is not at all possible. If THQ is hard at work on the servers, they could not really keep on tweeting about what is going on – or could they? Even if the logistics makes it possible, it is still weird to get hourly updates we understand because they could end up being redundant. We are just so fidgety right now.
