WWE ’12: THQ Announces Server Maintenance
[Update] Some fans are still experiencing problems. According to the official WWEgames twitter feed THQ are “seeing signs of promise”. We’ll keep you posted as soon as more info becomes available.
THQ is currently working on the WWE 12 servers. They first made an announcement through WWE Games official Twitter account. This is how their exact tweet went: ”We’re doing some server maintenance today for #WWE12. If you experience outages for 5 min. at a time, have no fear, we’re working on it!” So basically, you are being assured that THQ is working on the WWE 12 servers and that logging in problems are at the moment normal. At least, it would be as normal as it can get while servers are being maintained.
The question that you should be asking is what THQ is working on and why. Apparently, it is fixing problems that have been triggered by their new patch. With a patch causing more problems, it makes you wonder if this fix will cause another problem or would finally make WWE 12 completely free from any problems.
Cory Ledesma tweeted an update about the maintenance check: ”A quick heads up that there will be sporadic server maintenance taking place today and tomorrow that may interfere with u connecting.”
Hopefully, after this server maintenance check, everything will be fine with the WWE 12. We cannot wait to be able to control some of our favorite WWE characters for a rollicking and grappling good time. However, it is also good that THQ s ensuring that things will be in tiptop shape by fixing the servers. We hope that this will be the end of the WWE 12 troubles. Patches are supposed to fix problems. If they cause more problems, it is THQ’s responsibility to put things to right. THQ will hopefully not cause any more trouble in the game’s servers. Players may understand the current outages but they won’t be patient for long. They need their game. Isn’t that what THQ wants, anyway?
So many server problems for THQ. What happened to their dedicated systems for WWE ’12?
