WWE ’12: India’s Great Khali Absent from Roster
India has more than one billion people. That’s a lot of people and that’s a big market. WWe is quite popoular in India. If there is a growing market for this type of entertainment, India surely qualifies. That’s why it is quite a headscratcher to learn that THQ’s upcoming wrestling simulation game WWE ’12 isn’t going to include the Great Khali. This wrestling Indian talent is huge and has a lot of fans. Considering the importance of the Indian market, it is quite a mystery why WWE ’12 won’t have him in the roster. It is not like this wrestling title has no more space left. There are still around 14 spaces left in the game’s roster.

If all this wasn’t bad enough, the Great Khali was also absent from WWE Smackdown vs Raw 2011. What is going on? The Great Khali has been quite an active wrestler in WWE, going at 5 years. He debut in 2006. Maybe, this has something to do with WWE TV entertainment being popular in India, whereas video game entertainment – not so much – regardless of the large market involved. Considering that the guy is a fixture for five years in the WWE, it wouldn’t hurt THQ to include him in WWE ’12.
