WWE ’12: Could Razor Ramon Be the Mystery Superstar?

WWE ’12 has already revealed a lot. It has revealed its roster. It has revealed a long list of game enhancements and technical modifications from past installments. These changes, all told, put WWE ’12 head and shoulders above other wrestling simulation games. It also marks an abrupt change from previous THQ WWE releases. Everything from ring dynamics to hold breaks to audience noise to a whole list of other game enhancing details have been changed in this title. Dubbed the “Predator” technology, this suite of technical changes have changed the overall feel of the game for the better. So what other piece of information is missing regarding WWE ’12? We still don’t know who the remaining mystery superstars are.

Speculation is furiously swarming about this mystery superstar. According to a wrestling-focused game blog, the mystery wrestler is no other than “Razor Ramon”. Based on a tip from an unidentified THQ designer, it says Razor Ramon fits all the four clues dropped by THQ earlier regarding the mystery superstar of WWE ’12. The mystery designer was asked to supply game art corroborating the inclusion of Razor Ramon. He, verbosely, backed out of such a commitment. So there you have it. File this one under speculation/rumor until further evidence, real evidence, surfaces.

    I hope Scott Hall/Razor Ramon is in the game. Maybe even X-Pac too. The Outsiders/DX/The Kliq on a modern game would be great (first stable I’d make). If Shawn Michaels isn’t in the game EVERY year I’ll be pissed. I think Bret Hart/Y2J could be also. I’d be pleased to see characters that complete Tag Teams like Stevie Ray and Jim Neidhart for example. I’d be happy if it were The Ultimate Warrior, Macho Man or Hulk Hogan also.
