The Legend of Zelda – Skyward Sword: Import Game Figurines from Japan

You may think it child’s play but it is not. Collecting Zelda figures straight from Japan is actually a whole lot cooler than you may think. If you are already a fan of the franchise as well as Takara Tomy Arts then you know the attraction of the combination of the two.

The thing is that you won’t find these special figures in the usual toy twist-knob machines that you will find just about anywhere, such as in grocery stores and even cinemas in the West. You have to hand it to Japan and to Takara Tomy Arts in particular. Takara Tomy Arts is at the moment offering six gashapon figurines that have come directly from Japan. So at least the figurines have managed to come over from the East. There will be characters from The Wind Waker, Ocarina of Time and even from the latest Zelda instalment, Skyward Sword. Are you interested? Well, import specialist NCS is already accepting pre-orders for this collection of figurines. The collection is aptly called the Zelda Figure Collection. You pre-order now and get your collection sometime in April.

You get to have two small Link figurines, a Tetra, a child Link, Zelda and a child Zelda for only $30. You also have to consider import costs, of course. But no matter what the cost will be, it will still be loads cheaper than having to fly to Japan and buy the figurines right there. Also, while it may be cheaper to have a huge bulk of these figurines being sold in stores here, it won’t be as special as ordering from an import specialist. So I am still glad that it still has some exclusivity.
