LEGO Batman 2 – DC Super Heroes: Trailer Reveals Some Gameplay and LEGO-Built DC Universe

The reveal trailer for the upcoming LEGO-fied super hero action game LEGO Batman 2 – DC Super Heroes gives us a peek at the gameplay this game packs. In contrast to the previous LEGO Batman title,  LEGO Batman 2 – DC Super Heroes will feature other recognized heroes from the DC Universe who will team up with the Dark Knight to help out in Gotham.

These additional heroes include Superman and Wonder Woman and of course some major villains like the Joker.  As LEGO game quality continue to increase, we suspect that the old saying “the more the merrier” might make this installment of the LEGO series the best so far. The more heroes, the better, right?

The title does not have an official release date yet. However, based on the trailer, we can be sure that the game will drop sometime this year and will be available on the 3DS, Wii, Xbox 360, PS Vita, and Playstation 3. In terms of placeholder dates used by various retailers, some have been listing LEGO Batman 2 – Super Heroes with a date of June 2012. Things are looking good that this title will drop during the summer.
