Super Mario Bros: Brazilian Carnival Revelers Dance to Mario
Brazil’s Carnival has just been held. As usual, foreigners flock to Rio to take part in the dancing, drinking and overall celebrating. The music is usually pure rhythm, the one that you can party with the whole day long. However, do you know that Mario has become part of the celebration?
Are you talking about the plumber guy in overalls, you may ask. Yes, that Mario. Apparently, dancing at the Brazilian Carnival – while donning Super Mario costumes – is cool. What do you think of that? If you are a Super Mario fan then you may want to visit Brazil at least once to check out if the Mario posse is active annually. It certainly would be nice if the Mushroom Kingdom sprouts out every year in Brazil. For once, we could probably wear our Super Mario costumes without looking geeky, though geeky is fine, really. Anyway, you may want to go to Santa Teresa specifically. This is the Rio suburb where you will find the Super Mario group dancing the day away. A video clip showing Brazilian Carnival revelers having fun while wearing Super Mario costumes and dancing to the Super Mario theme is just precious. This is the time when you hear the music and associate it with something earthy and fun. Imagine dancing under the sun on the streets of Rio while having a great time with friends, just relaxing and drinking your beer. It feels awesome, right?
What do you think of this video? Do these Brazilian revelers have it right by dancing to Super Mario? Well, we cannot really tell if the musical theme is really cool in Brazil or not because it may not really matter. All these revelers care about is having fun and they genuinely are. We are just so envious right now.
