Darksiders 2: Meet Death

Death is quite an intimidating protagonist. Why? Well, he should have power over everything or almost everything and everyone. So, you can understand how THQ is super proud about its Darksiders 2 protagonist Death. In the hack and slash game, you will see Death take on a physical form. And it turns out that Death is actually wearing a sort of executioner mask that makes him even more foreboding. Not that he actually needs to be more scary.

Anyway, THQ loves talking about him and so you will soon know more about the character. A YouTube video clip is already devoted to explaining this character. There are also trailers that highlight his armor, his fighting style and more. His creators have also finally talked about the character himself through the Darksiders 2 Behind the Mask video. In this video, Vigil Games employees took the time to explain who Death is and what made him become this way and how he gets things done. There are a few trivia thrown around. For example Death does not just use signature scythes but also makes use of a wide range of weapons. In fact, he uses axes, claws and even guns among others. Death is also truly formidable. He is revealed as crueller than his brother War in both his combat style and temperament. However, Death is also more agile and is able to do things a lot easier as a result.

The video shows us that meeting the protagnost will be far from being light-hearted. But we are talking about the executioner here, so that was to be expected. Prepare to take on the mask and be the executioner yourself. Are you already thrilled to meet Death?
