Darksiders 2: Game Drops Loots Randomly a la RPG
There are gamers who commented that the first Darksiders was like a combination of Zelda and God of War. They may be right about that but what about the upcoming sequel? Darksiders 2 will be featuring some RPG elements as well, such as loot. The game will come with lots of loot that drop on random. An Xbox Live spotlight video revealed this.
The horseman death takes center stage in the sequel, taking over his brother War. He can increase his experience. You, as the player, can invest in either Harvenger skills or Necromancer skills. The first one helps melee skills while the second category of skills is about calling the undead to your side. Death’s favorite weapon is the scythe. He can use it as a long, single weapon or he may use it as two shorter and separate weapons. There are other weapons in his arsenal, such as axes, claws, guns, hammers and iron fists. With such rich characters involved, it sounds natural for this game to go the merry RPG way. The randomized loot is an interesting addition especially since the Darksiders world is a large piece of dark fantasy, where the main characters are the four horsemen of the Apocalypse. Randomized loot seems like the way to go when it comes to channelling the powers that be.
Have you seen the trailer for Darksiders 2? That one is intense. We get to see Death’s role in the world. He has always been there since the beginning of time. So how can someone as formidable as he be on a quest so difficult? He has to fight for his brother War’s innocence. Darksiders 2 is scheduled to be released this coming summer on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and also later on the Nintendo next-gen Wii U.
