Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Future Soldier: Ubisoft Treat Fans to a Live Action Recap

Ubisoft are a kind lot. As the storyline in upcoming game, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Future Soldier, will take place many years after the events of the other games in the series Ubisoft have provided fans with a live action mini-film that will help to tie the storylines together.

The 23 minute long short, Ghost Recon Alpha, sets the scene before the starting point of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Future Soldier. Ubisoft have gone all out to bring fans a visual treat, as the script was written by Tim Sexton who penned Children of Men and the clip was directed by Trent Opaloch who gave District 9 its gritty edge.  You won’t be surprised by the plot, as the 4 playable characters are introduced in the first few scenes as they combat the usual mix of terrorists and other baddies. The great thing about the video is that you get a bit of a sneak preview of the game’s map. You will also get to enjoy the accuracy of the weapons courtesy of the expert behind Transformers, Iron man, and Thor to name but a few. So why are Ubisoft putting so much effort into this?

Well if you watched the whole film you will find out how to unlock exclusive content once you have purchased your game. It seems that Ubisoft are as excited as we are about the prospect of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Future Soldier. Less than ten days now until the game is released on May 25th for all platforms.
