Soul Calibur 5: Fighting Game Boasts Epic Opening Cinematic
Why do you play Soul Calibur? Well, more likely you like playing fighting games. You like to pit different characters against each other. So, a fighting game with a larger variety of characters is always ideal. It is good to have a lot of characters to choose from.
But what about cinematic openings? It turns out the Japanese version of Soul Calibur 5 from Namco Bandai will have a stunning opening cinematic. The opening will be quite over the top. In this unforgettable cinematic, you will see forever rivals Nightmare and Seigfried fight it out with swords that wield energy. They will also be exchanging blows before gaining power a la Dragon Ball Z. Then, they will clash against each other for one last head-on. Namco announced early this week that Project Soul has actually finished the development period of Soul Calibur 5 and that it ended up promising. The title will be released on February 3. So you won’t have a long time to wait for it.
The cinematic being epic is certainly a great effort from Namco Bandai and Project Soul. I think that it is just right that a fighting game has a super exciting opening. After all, we are being psyched in preparation for playing a fighting game. We should already be pumped up once we get started with the fights.
So are you happy about having an epic opening? Yes, it would certainly be awesome but it would be loads better if the gameplay itself lives up to that opening.
