Saints Row – The Third: Wacky Proffessor Genki Trailer Released

The star of Saints Row – The Third’s latest trailer is none other than Professor Genki and his Super Ethical Reality Climax once more. As Steelport’s famed survival game show, Super Ethical Reality Climax lets contestants compete in games of gruesome carnage in which their own lives as well as plenty of cash and prizes are at stake. In this colourful trailer of THQ and Volition’s upcoming sequel, the adorable feline Professor Genki prepares a death arena for anyone who is crazy enough to bet his own life. There are cardboard hot dog cut outs and flame throwers and all those fun and dangerous obstacles that are available for the whole family. But of course, there is also the Genki pre-order bonuses that fans got to watch out for. It will include the Genki stunt suit, the octopus gun (which turns foes into allies), and the ballistic man-a-pult (human-launching vehicle).

Critics might want to hold their tongues a little bit if they haven’t watched the trailer yet. It is not your typical gameplay trailer that is both mediocre and weird, and contains a swear word that feels really out of place. The crazy Professor Genki, the ridiculous gameplay variation, and the no-holds barred experience the title provides might be some good reasons why you should give it a second look. Saints Row – The Third will be available on November 15, 2011 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.
