Resident Evil – Operation Racoon City: Jill Valentine Stars in Free DLC
The upcoming horror survival action game Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City will have a DLC staring fans’ favorite character Jill Valentine. If you were on the fence regarding picking up this latest installment of the long running Resident Evil series, the announcement of Jill Valentine’s addition to the game via a DLC might seal the deal for you.
While the game has players take the role of Umbrella agents, the DLC features US Spec Ops – the guys on the other side of the fence of this story. Capcom has announced that Jill Valentine will be one of the agents involved. The DLC’s back story is set in one of the key events of Resident Evil 3 – Nemesis and features her trying to get away from the BOW. Another cool thing about this content pack, besides having Jill Valentine on it, is the fact that it is completely free.
Resident Evil – Operation Racoon City players can download it for the PS3 come April 10. Xbox 360 players have to wait until April 11 to get their free download. Not a bad development for an upcoming title-cover both bases by featuring a fan favorite in a DLC. Good strategy, Capcom.
The main game drops on March 20 in the US market. European gamers have to wait until March 23. Sadly, there is still no exact date for a PC version. However, it is expected to drop in the middle of May.
