WWE ’12: Macho Man Randy Savage To Be DLC
Macho Man Randy Savage being part of WWE 12 is equal parts tribute to the wrestler we had just lost and recognition to his skills as a pro wrestler and his impact as a person. The Macho Man was not just a pro wrestler but he was also known as spokesperson for Slim Jims and for fighting Spiderman. He was also well-known for his trash talk. But then again, he is a pro wrestler. Pro wrestlers are either silently sinister or appallingly loud, just as fans want them to be.
The good news is that the Macho Man is going to be part of an upcoming DLC for WWE 12. Randy Savage certainly deserved to part of the roster of playable characters. He was, after all, one of the most entertaining wrestlers that thundered on the ring.
Have you seen how he will look like for the DLC? Well, I’ve seen him and his look is more late 80s than early 90s. Personally, I don’t think of it as a problem. The important thing is that he made it into WWE 12. There are many great wrestlers out there that fail to make it. It would certainly be fun to see Savage dropping the elbow on one of the other digital playable characters. He is not the only former wrestler who is coming back through the virtual WWE, either. We have heard of Brock Lesnar making it to the main entries.
For now, I am just psyched that the Macho Man has made it. I can’t wait to finally get to play his character on WWE 12 to see if the game does him justice.
