Spider-Man – Edge of Time: New Official Trailer Released

With the onslaught of video trailers hitting the Internet lately, you know that it’s that time of the year again – Comic-con! From highly anticipated titles to lesser known titles, video game developers are releasing trailer videos faster and more frantically in the short period of Comic-Con than corals releasing sperm and eggs during lunar cycles.

Of course, the vast bulk don’t really say much except for the ocassional “gee whiz” effect. But some do manage to pack quite a bit of meat. The trailer for Spider-Man – Edge of Time is definitely of the latter category. It shows some key elements of the upcoming title such as its time and dimension bending features, its differing villains, and some of its awesome settings. Spider-Man – Edge of Time’s trailer is quite a great piece of animation and editing. Slated for release on October 4th, 2011, Spider-Man – Edge of Time looks like it will be quite a nice looking title for Activision. Still, I’d like to see a series of gameplay trailers before I give it my seal of approval.
