Yakuza – Dead Souls
The Yakuza franchise has swerved to a different direction with its latest instalment, Yakuza – Dead Souls. Now gangs do not just have each other to worry about but they also have to mind hordes of zombies. Of course, they have to be serious about killing those zombies. Have you ever heard of a video game in which zombies are not killed off? You, as the player, just have to if you don’t want to end up dead yourself.
A new video for Yakuza – Dead Souls has just been released. Prospective gamers have to be clued in just how to kill zombies. So how do you kill them anyway? With guns and melee weapons, apparently. The PS3 game, by the way, is known in Japan as Yakuza of The End. So, there is still such a thing as a Yakuza even during the end of times.
The video game is set to launch on March 2012. Some games are just taking the prediction that the world will end in 2012 just a tad seriously. Anyway, the game will be set in the red light district of Tokyo. Zombies must be super mad at prostitutes as they are attacking this particular infamous district.
In Dead Souls, players will still fight off other gangsters from the Japanese underworld aside from fending and killing off zombies and mutants. Dead Souls features gunplay, which is a first for the series. You will be able to make use of pistols, machine guns and even rocket launchers to kill zombies and prevent total invasion.
