Uncharted 3: Naughty Dod, Team Bondi, and Rocksteady Duke it Out at BAFTA

The BAFTA Awards is truly an up to date and “with it” awards organization. Their inclusion of video games and implicit acceptance of video games as a perfectly acceptable “art form” leads one to this conclusion.

Given the list of nominees for Best Game, you’d be hard pressed to debate on the negative side of the whole “are video games art” argument. The top games nominated are Batman – Arkham City, LA Noire, The Elder Scrolls 5 – Skyrim, Portal 2, FIFA 12, and The Legend of Zelda – Skyward Sword.  For performers in video games, the nominees include some well-known talent as Stephen Fry for Little Big Planet 2, Stephen Merchant of Portal 2, Uncharted 3′s Nolan North, LA Noire’s Aaron Stanton, Arkham City’s Mark Hamil, and Shogun 2′s Togo Igawa.
