Uncharted 3 – Drake’s Deception: Biggest beta yet on PS3
In what can only be interpreted as great news by Uncharted 3′s developer Naughty Dog, Uncarted 3 – Drake’s Deception logged the biggest beta for the PS3. All told, the beta racked up 1.53 million players with each player averaging 1200 kills.
Talk about huge numbers. Indeed, there was a total of 362 years (years!) of cumulative match time for Uncarted 3 – Drake’s Deception with players firing 48 billion shots and offing each other around 1.9 billion times. The numbers for this title are just staggering. If the matches were monetized, Sony estimated the value of the 22 million matches to have been $1.9 trillion worth of in game cash. Uncarted 3 – Drake’s Deception’s impressive beta numbers are sure to fan the already huge amount of anticipation and fan buzz for this first person shooter title.

The game is widely anticipated because of the huge fan base this franchise’s earlier releases have generated and also its overhauled multiplayer features are sure to attract attention. Uncarted 3 – Drake’s Deception is due on November 1 when it will launch with a matching novel based on the Uncharted series, Uncharted – The Fourth Labyrinth.
