UFC Undisputed 3: Game Demo Released
The demo for UFC Undisputed 3 should be out by now or just about to be released as you are reading this. The main game should have been up for release for this month but has been delayed until Valentine’s Day 2012. THQ has not given out info on what kind of fighters or game modes to expect from the demo. Instead, it declares that details such as those will be out anyway when the full game is finally launched. Well, duh. But what if we want those details now? Impossible? Ok, we will just content ourselves with the demo.
There will be an online beta for the PS3 version of the game. This beta run will be like the Xbox Live one held last December. The codes for the PS3 beta may have already released. Test runs are always helpful. Hopefully, the beta run will help THQ identify possibly damaging problems early on. This way, players won’t have to experience the same thing that WWE 12 players had to go through. Also, the beta run may hopefully immediately focus on the problems so that the official launch will not be further delayed. The best way really to find the problems is to let players go through a beta version of the game. Developers know their games so well that they just go through them with the full knowledge of what they should do to finish fast. However, players do not know where to go exactly yet and they will press buttons that they should not. So, errors are generated and also identified.
If error identification and game polishing finish up early then we will be getting our game on Valentine’s Day. Or maybe THQ is planning to release the game no matter what and deal with the errors later on?
