The Last of Us: Screens Show Desperate Struggle for Survival
A pandemic has hit the world and all chaos has broken loose. Naturally, people would be a little, well, frantic, stressed, desperate, and perhaps hopeless. That’s exactly the impression we get from the latest screenshots from the upcoming post-apocalyptic third person survival action game, The Last of Us.
Developed by the same crew behind the Uncharted action adventure series, The Last of Us is all about survival, scavenging, and getting by just enough to last another day. Behind its bleak premise is quite a bit of action. You can feast your eyes on what this game has to offer in a newly releases series of screenshots. Beside rugged survivor Jack and precocious teen Ellie, there are quite a few other survivors in The Last of Us and these might not be the type of people our two protagonists might want to come across. As the screenshots show there are more than a few altercations.

Quite natural considering the hard scrabble scramble for remaining food and other survival items in the game. The PS3 exclusive title looks like it will sure pack quite a bit of surprises in a gritty setting. The screenshots definitely get some messages across loud and clear: Get ready to hang on to that brick. It might just come in handy up ahead. And don’t ever forget to keep your eyes peeled for trouble.
