Soul Calibur 5: New Characters Join Fighting Game Roster
Little by little, Soul Calibur 5’s characters are being leaked out. It seems to be that way because there are new characters coming out into the open. Remember the time when we first found out that Raphael and Assassin’s Creed’s Ezio Auditore will be part of the Soul Calibur 5 roster? Well, this time there are three new fighters revealed in much the same way.
There are a couple of images that suggest who two of these three new fighters are. Just try to dig into NeoGAF and you will find where these images have come from. Apparently, Kilik will be part of SoulCalibur5. He is wearing a shiny new bird hat this time and he still somehow elicits a lot of strong emotions from gamers. You know what kind of emotion that is. Then there is the new character Elysium, who is not wearing much. She does look to be some kind of angel what with her white wings and overall lit-up persona.
Rumors have it that these two characters will be able to “mimic characters” in such a way that they can use the fighting styles of other characters. Right now, though, consider this feature nothing but speculation. There has been no confirmation yet. But it sure would be an interesting thing to see. If this would be the case, however, would players still choose other characters over these two? These two, if the rumors were right, could be anything or anyone in terms of fighting styles. There must be some catch somewhere.
Soul Calibur 5 has already built quite a reputation for itself in terms of character selection screenshots. So, are those photos even real and have not been tampered with? It really is hard to know which photos are real if the leak has not yet been left the realm of speculations.
