Shadows of the Damned: Wicked new trailer
The new multiplatformer from Grasshopper Manufacture, Shadows of the Damned, first came across our gaming consoles a couple of weeks ago. As the June release date approaches, we have been waiting for some more media candy to whet fans‘ appetites.
And indeed, the new “My Sweet Damned” trailer does not disappoint. While certainly not for the unitiated in oddness, we find it a decent introduction to what the the full version of Shadows of the Damned might hold in store for us. To be sure, that crazy thing that like a doorknob on steroids or a big knocker or whatever it is is a tribute to horror-movie freakishness, especially when you have to feed it strawberries. But having a vending machine plunk down a bottle of absinth certainly passes in our book as a righteous reward for a job well done.
Accompany Garcia Hostpur on his hellish descent as he embarks on a heroic quest to find his kidnapped girlfriend. But once you enter the gates to the underworld of Shadows of the Damned, you had better be prepared. After all, if you find yourself in hell, the best and only thing to do is to keep moving.
