Saints Row – The Third: Valve and THQ Titles Play Swap

In the spirit of all that is fun is zany, Saints Row – The Third was released a couple of months ago much to the delight of fans. After that release, THQ and Volition Inc made themselves busy with upcoming DLC releases. We have heard that there will be a Genki Bowl 7 that will feature a creepy-looking panda and a whole group of weird new stuff.

CheapyD’s add-on bundles are also coming up. Both the Genki Bowl 7 and the bundles are set to launch on January 17. However, it turns out that THQ has more in store for PC owners. The makers of Saints Row – The Third have been collaborating with Valve making it possible for The Saints avatars to dress up in Team Fortress 2 clothes. The pieces of clothing involved in this team-up are nine Team Fortress 2 masks. This nine disguises will automatically be downloaded into The Third PC versions through Steam’s updater on January 17. The masks can be used in gameplay right away.

But this is not even the first time that 3rd Street Saints have become linked to the hard Team Fortress 2 warriors. Early on this month, even as the year has only opened, Valve had made available three Saints Row – The Third game items for use in Team Fortress 2. So, The Third had already contributed to Team Fortress. Now, it is time for Team Fortress to contribute to The Third. The items shared by Saints Row were exclusive to Saints Row fans who pre-ordered the open-world game from THQ.

In Saints Row – The Third, the 3rd Saints have expanded into a new city called Steelport. They also go against an international gang. THQ expects that The Third will be able to sell more copies after the new content has been added.
