Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City: New gameplay video released
Capcom have released a treat. The developer has uploaded a thirty-two minute long gameplay video of Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City direct from Comic-Con. Although the quality of the footage leaves a lot to be desired the content will surly have every fan chewing at the bit to find out every last detail of this hotly anticipated game. Who doesn’t want to see the Umbrella special operative task force dispatching enemies in their droves?
The video shows a great deal of action, mostly artillery, but some melee action and a couple of explosions. The most interesting footage comes from the character selection screen at 1:30 which gives you a glimpse behind the action. In reality the video doesn’t show anything ground breaking, but it is certainly a good way to kill half an hour.
Resident Evil – Operation Raccoon City sets players a completely different objective to what they will have been used to. Players now have to be a member of the USS (Umbrella Security Service) and have to destroy evidence of Umbrella’s wrong doings and illegal activities. Despite it’s length the video doesn’t offer any particular insight into the plot. Sit back, make yourself comfortable, and prepare to enjoy some intense third person shooter action.
