Metal Gear Solid: Next installment targets high end PCs and consoles
As reported on Joystiq, the next installment of the Metal Gear Solid action game series will be focused towards high end PCs and consoles. At least, that’s what the job ad for a new development team posted by Metal Gear Solid producer Kojima Productions. They are looking for an extensive array of team members to help evolve the Fox Engine that Kojima is currently working on. More importantly, the team will help bring the next installment of Metal Gear Solid to life.
What kind of staff is Kojima looking for? Actualyl, based on the job listing on the Konami site, he is pretty much looking for a complete team. Here is the compact list of staffers he wants to recruit for the next MGS: Gameplay Programmers, Graphics Engine Programmer, Concept Artist, Character Artist, Animator, Game Designer, Level Designer, and Composer. They are also looking for a Brand manager. Don’t let the list above fool you, it is a compact list. The full list can be found on Konami’s site and it is quite a long list. Looks like Kojima is looking for a fresh team to put together the new chapter in the MGS saga. If you are interested and can work in California or Japan, swing by their booth at the Game Developers Conference’s Career Pavilion on March 6 to March 9 and tell the Konami crew there about your skills.
