God of War 4 – Ascension: Release Coming Spring 2013
Following yesterday’s leak from Amazon, Sony have followed through with their promise and released more details regarding the upcoming Playstation exclusive. Publishing the details on the PlayStation God of War 4 – Ascension product page, we can now learn that Sony are planning to launch the game during the first quarter of 2013.
Interestingly, according to the product page, there will be no multiplayer mode. This is in direct contrast to some of the rumors,. including the two-player Kratos, Deimos mode, that were flying around be the game was officially announced. This goes to show that the rumor mill is not really the best place to find all your information. As I am sure we will find out when Rockstar get around to telling us more about Grand Theft Auto 5. God of War is pretty much the best example of a console selling exclusive that there is on the market. It’s certainly a close call between God of War and Uncharted. Launching God of War 4 – Ascension in Spring certainly shows that Sony believes that this generation of console still has legs.
