Ghost Recon – Future Soldier: The Latest Developer Diary “Believe in Ghosts” is Out
Ubisoft’s ongoing video series promoting Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon – Future Soldier has a new developer diary out – and it is a doozy! The trailer walks you through a hostage mission scenario. Just like previous installments of the “Believe in Ghosts” series, the former Navy seal host, Richard “Mack” Machowicz, walks us through the tactical issues involved in the mission.
Apparently, this hostage mission is reminiscent of a real-life hostage campaign that took place in Panama City back in December 1989. The Ubisoft tactical game focuses on recon and special weapons operations involving really sticky situations. We imagine that it would be quite difficult to run the typical Call of Duty “gun and run” strategy in this game. Strategy would quickly turn into Tragedy especially if your mission is to extract hostage victims alive.
A previous “Believe in Ghosts” developer diary featured the special weapons flexibility which played a key role in the take down against global terror head Osama bin-Laden. Ghost recon units have a wide range of tactical weapons that allow them to take out enemies in the dark or behind walls. Check out the Dev Diary right below.
