Doctor Who – The Eternity Clock: BBC Treats Us To A Teaser
Fans of the Doctor Who television series, rejoice! A Doctor Who video game is already in t he works. The video game is being developed to be supported by both the PS3 and the PlayStation Vita. This is according to a teaser trailer that has been leaked by BBC. It seems that the TV network did not mean it to be out so early yet that it immediately removed the trailer.
The video game will carry the title Doctor Who – The Eternity Clock. The video trailer also shows some text that say, “Gamers can take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they explore the universe of Doctor Who over multiple time periods.”
Well, that is interesting. For the television series, eleven actors have already taken the role of Doctor Who. Now, we are getting the opportunity to become Doctor Who as well!
Supermassive Games is developing Doctor Who – The Eternity Clock. This is the studio responsible for the “Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves” DLC for LittleBigPlanet 2. So, it has some experience working on projects that may end up on handhelds. The end of the trailer, however, reassures the gamers that there will be a PC version of the game, as well.
What do you think in this new development in the Doctor Who franchise? I sure would want to get my hands on the game. I have been a fan of the BBC series for some time and still getting used to the new Doctor Who. I love the new one, don’t you misunderstand, but there have been other doctors as well. Now, it is our turn.
